Angels rejoice,
Because I’ve finally made the choice
To let love in.
My breath’s caught short.
My heart skips a beat
Every time we chance to meet,
Even in passing.
Never forgotten,
Our lost love,
It was sent from up above,
A precious gift.
We’ve missed out

All because of misplaced fears.
I retreated.
